Aradia™ Fitness Pole Dancing and Sensual Movement Classes for Fitness
With foundations in yoga, pilates and dance, Aradia™ offers fitness classes specifically tailored for a woman’s body. Aradia takes a holistic approach to fitness offering benefits that serve a woman’s mind, body and soul. Students gain confidence as they build physical strength, flexibility and conditioning. Students also gain a sense of wellness as they learn to adore, celebrate and flaunt every curve of their body.
From the moment you walk in the door, you will feel welcomed. We will start slow, teaching you the basics as you build up strength and confidence. Before you know it, you’ll be challenging yourself to try moves and spins you never thought you’d be able to do! Classes are lighthearted, warm and full of laughter. Women come for the workout and stay for the wonderful sense of community and celebration!
Pole dance fitness level Progressions
Levels Pole 1 – Pole 7
Each of these structured sessions gives our students a solid foundation in pole dancing & sensual movement. These classes are lively, sexy, and fun! Beginner classes incorporate the Aradia Fitness floor workout (our sexy take on Yoga) as well fundamental pole dance transitions, spins, tricks and strength building exercises. Clients must attend at least eight (8) classes of each level before being eligible to advance to the next level. For safety reasons, Aradia Fitness requires all clients to pass an assessment prior to advancing. Ladies are welcome to attend any Pole Level class at their current approved level or any lower level.

Pole 1 introduces clients to the perfect mix of pole work and sensual movement… transforming your mind & body as you “Meet Your Sexy Side”. This class is designed on a 4-week lesson plan rotation and includes an important mix of our sexy yoga-fusion workout as well as strength training on the pole. Clients will also learn a variety of pole dance spins & transitions and how to them together into mini choreographies. Prerequisite to attend Pole 1 is completion of at least one “Teaser” class or instructor approval. Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 1 & complete an assessment before being eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 2.
In Pole 2, clients continue to explore more challenging spins, tricks & transitions and be introduced to pole climbing, sitting and inverting. We will begin to phase out the sexy yoga-fusion workout and transition to more strength-training using the pole. Pole 2 is based on a 4-week lesson plan rotation.
Prerequisite to attend Pole 2 classes is completion of a Pole 1 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 2 class. Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 2 prior to “Level Up” to Pole 3.
In Pole 3 clients are introduced to flying high on the pole as we continue to invert (flip upside down) and climb! All that hard work in Pole 1 and Pole 2 will pay off as you tackle even more challenging spins, tricks and transitions. Instructors will also begin to transition clients to “freestyle” dancing where you will learn how to effortlessly put everything you know together into your own dance style. Pole 3 is based on a 4-week lesson plan rotation.
Prerequisite to attend Pole 3 classes is completion of a Pole 2 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 3 class. Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 3 prior to eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 4.
In Pole 4, clients are challenged even more as we begin to tackle static aerial holds using different parts of our body, such as inner thighs and hips. The spins, transitions and strength work become increasingly more challenging as we continue to prepare clients for more advanced levels. Pole 4 is based on a 4-week lesson plan rotation.
Prerequisite to attend Pole 4 classes is completion of a Pole 3 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 4 class. Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 4 prior to eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 5.
Welcome to Pole 5 – a high flying composition of challenging new thigh & hip holds, impressive spins and intense strength building techniques. This class will challenge you with exciting new feats of athleticism! By this point, you will be comfortable with freestyle dancing and instructors will help you create interesting new ways to seamlessly flow your spins, tricks & transitions together into a stunning performance. Pole 5 is based on a 4-week lesson plan rotation.
Prerequisite to attend Pole 5 classes is completion of a Pole 4 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 5 class. Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 5 prior to eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 6.
The journey to reach Pole 6 has been full of laughter, bumps & bruises and challenges you never thought you were capable of overcoming! In this level, you will be challenged even more with advanced spins, tricks & transitions. Clients will learn new ways of climbing and inverting on the pole as well as truly acrobatic aerial static holds. Your strength & flexibility will continue to grow as your prepare to enter the creme de la creme of Aradia Fitness pole classes… Pole 7! Pole 6 is based on a 4-week lesson plan rotation.
Prerequisite to attend Pole 6 classes is completion of a Pole 5 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 6 class. Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 6 prior to eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 7.
The crème de la crème of pole dance fitness! Welcome to our Advanced series, where clients have successfully mastered Pole 1 through Pole 6 and are ready to take their pole journey to the next level. In Pole 7, instructors will cover various topics from pole techniques, new combos, drops & handsprings, acrobatic floor work and more.Prerequisite to attend Pole 7 classes is completion of a Pole 6 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 7 class.
Drop in/complement classes
Our drop in classes could vary month to month based on attendance, new class ideas, and interest from our students. Pre-registration is required for all classes.
Pole Conditioning which is a bootcamp style fitness class, but most of the excersises are done using the poles, or are based on building strength to be able to become a stronger pole dancer. No pole experience is necessary, poles are only used as workout equipment with guided use from the teacher.
Pole Choreography which has been designed to teach students how to create a pole routine by putting the moves they have learned in classes together and showing them how to make the moves flow smoothly. Students will learn routines and also be able to eventually create their own. Students must be in level 2 or higher to attend.
Seductive Movement Learn how to move your body in sexy ways off the pole; including the sexy crawling, floorwork, some chair work and more! You may need: knee pads, leg warmers, socks, high heel shoes.
Pole Practise No new moves will be taught. Students may practise moves they have learned in class.
Stretch/Flexibility Need a vacation in the middle of the week? Splits stretch will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the week! You will also improve your flexibility and get one step closer to the splits!
