What can/should I wear?
You can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable to your first class! We recommend wearing tight fitting, comfortable clothing that allow for free movement. Loose clothing can get in the way when you are dancing. Leggings, yoga pants or shorts with a t-shirt or tank top and bare feet work best. The stilettos are optional!
What do I need to bring to my first class?
Bring your workout clothes, a bottle of water, and prepare to have fun! Some students also like to bring pole grip with them, but not to worry if you don’t have any, as we sell some at the studio.
Do I have to dance in heels?
Stilettos are totally optional! Some students prefer to dance with them, and some choose to go with bare feet. Generally we ask our beginner students to wait until Level 3 before dancing in heels.
I have never taken a class before. Where do I start?
All new students start in our Level 1 Beginner class and work their way through the program at their own pace. Please see our Class Schedule to see when our Beginner classes are running and register online, or contact the studio for more information.
I’ve taken pole dancing classes before, do I have to start from the beginning if I join Aradia?
Absolutely not! If you’ve got previous pole experience we are happy to assess your abilities to help you select the classes that will best suit your skills and knowledge.
Are there men in the classes?
Generally, most of our classes are women only. If you are a man interested in our pole classes we are happy to try to accommodate you. Please contact email@example.com to discuss joining our studio. We do also host some couples workshops where men are included. We want to make all of our students happy and comfortable!
